Poets responding to poetry

I’ve posted up a poem by Kiri Piahana-Wong, a fabulous NZ poet whose collection Night Swimming was published last year by Anahera Press. http://www.anahera.co.nz/

I’m interested in your poetic or creative or critical response to the poem.

Click here: Deep Water Talk and add your words in the comments.

Perhaps an additional stanza or strophe, an analysis of what spoke to you, a different interpretation of the images, anything you like.

As an example of what might be done in the Abstract Compositions Project – check out this wee book by Richard Kearney.

A contribution based creation of a collection of works combined to create a whole.

Individuals create their booklet by means of cut up and collage within constraints. The booklet joins with the others to create a bigger picture.
